I am changing schools and my first day is tommorow. I am really shy and if it is too much pressure I start to cry. I try to tell myself that every thing is going to be ok but It only works for a little while. Can someone whp has changed schools tell me what is it like or what I can do to stay calm? (middle school, 8th grade)

They obviously didn't call it "World War One" since they didn't know there would be another one. I think it was the Great World War or something along those lines? Can anybody help please [it's for a school project]?

The problem is he cant put it on paper. We go over spelling words ever day he can sound it out, but when it comes to the test when he needs to spell it out it doesnt come out but 1/2 way. He will pass the part of reading the word even putting it correctly in a sentence. I dont understand I just want to know if there is anyone w/ kids out there that have the same problems

I want to say PBS just because it's PBS, but there are only 4 shows to choose from and Disney has several shows but they seem to be more entertainment (not so much educational).

what is the term for that when looking at course b/c i just don't see it say a major saying Government or something like that so i am wondering is there a nother term or similar meaning for it?? something similar to get me a field in learing to become a mayor or senete or house of reps something like that..plz help me....oh it is so hard when doing this i can see now

Questions:

How casual can they be?
And when they say essay do they really mean essay? Thesis and everything?
Can I say "I" in it?

My question is:

Write an insightful essay about your strengths, limitations, interests, academic and non-academic goals and aspirations and those factors which have contributed to your personal development, character and ability to succeed in the future. (500 words)

I don't want responses to the question!!! Just giving you an idea of what they're asking and where I'm coming from.

I just looked at my status for a college and it asked for my mid-year grades. I applied early action (meaning it was not binding). Does that mean I was deferred? I really am not sure. It never said anything about being deferrred. Up until today (for the past month or so) it has told me that my application was complete. And then today when i logged on to check the status it told me it needs my mid-year grades.


Deferred or no? Or what does it mean?
