It is a great goal to wish to be in the government governing the people, but your goal will not be met unless you are willing to make some effort to be 'excellent'. I mean, stand above your peers. Most of the questioners on this site use bad grammar and incorrect spelling. You must use correct spelling at all times and get better in grammar. You could not speak in public saying things like "What is the term for that when looking at course..." It hardly makes sense dear!

So, in order to get the correct classes, try 'Civics', or 'Local Government.'

May I suggest reading books, and even reading out loud for practice in using your voice and getting better at clearer thinking and speaking.

Good luck

Government = Political Science major.

Most liberal arts colleges have those courses. Also, try and sign up for some sort of intership in your local government as soon as you can. The more experience you have, the better.

You want to major in political science. You cannot go to school to be a Senator, you have to run for office and you don't have to have a degree in political science to do so, but it helps.
