I've actually read the article just below today, and I was quite surprised actually. My question is how do YOU feel about the issue?

My own personal thought is this is probably the best idea in the school system ever, I understand statistically (at least according to the study that a child is "at the safest place in school", but what exactly are staff to do when incidents like what has happened in the past, which still goes on now! School shootings, I'm sure that no one has forgotten the kids of columbine, and how the media blames it on video games, but should we ask ourselves our teachers responsible for our children as well? Honestly I would have to say yes, since the government requires them to be there. I would not have a problem with this at all, provided that each staff member that has a firearm went though special training, required to spend time on the range, and a monthly eye/range test, somewhat of like

Why was it so disturbing to some YA folks when somebody asked if it was true that guys used to swim naked in school before the 1970's. We used to take showers at school, also, but that was discontinued in many schools due to funding after the 1970's. Why was that simple question so troublesome to a few folks.
