I’m not putting teens down. It just really perplexes me. A huge number of questions are just headache-inducing – disjoint words; alien slang – and some of it doesn’t resemble language at all!

I’m not asking for perfection. As long as a question or answer can be read vaguely, or without inducing a headache side effect, that’s fine with me. Could a person’s education, national language or social habits contribute to this phenomenon; or is it just a case of common typo error?

This is not a hate question so I’d appreciate it if we could all keep the peace.

For years I've been listening to CD's and talking as much as I can to my Spanish friends. Watching the Spanish channels on TV, etc. I want to move to Costa Rica and with my vocabulary of about 150 words it's not possible. I'm pretty much a slow learner by nature (not to put myself down, that's just the way I am). What is the best method? I'd like to hear from others who are a little slow w/ picking things up. Thanks.

How do I paste in Microsoft excel and keep hidden rows hidden? I know there's an option only to paste all visiable rows/columns - but this doesn't keep the information in the hidden rows available when you paste. I know there's an option to paste format...but this only helps with hidden columns. Please help??

I saw a news article about a local high school that has a new approach to security after the recent killings. They do not lock their outside doors, do not have metal detectors, and do not have a policeman at school. What they will do is give each teacher three colored cards that are red, yellow, and green. If the teacher thinks that there is an intruder in the school they will lock their classroom door, tell the kids to be quiet, and then slide a card out underneath the door. If the card is green everything is perfect in there. If it is yellow then a student is missing. If it is red they have a problem and need help.

Do you think they have been reading too many homeland security coloring book instructions or do they just not understand about intruders, guns, and potential violence? Do you think this will make the problem go away or that it will be worse since intruders will know where all the students are?
