Homework Help - September 2007

I can't think of a topic! The only requirements is that it has to be on something/someone that we studied and that person/event had to have lived/ruled/occured BEFORE 1600 A.D. So what do u all think I should do the paper on? I think I want to do the paper on a person that ruled or had a major impact on society during this time period...any suggestions?!

My homework was to find out some last names that start with the letters A-Z....but i couldn't find any that start witht he letters Q,X, & Z .....the last names cannot be Mexican last names. (I don't know why). Can you help me please.! Oh and...i also need the name to go with it. The first name. I was suppose to use a phone book but i don't know where to get one. The real problem is the wheels. They have to be strong enough to hold up the main body, but also have to be able to move when pushed a little. I have no idea how to make axels or anything that will control the wheels. Help and suggestions please?

Everything has to be edible except for four toothpicks we're allowed to use.

It can be as small or big as we want, it just has to move. we get bonus points if it wins the race.

In English class, we were given an assignment. We have to write a speech about a topic which we feel passionate about. I'm not really "passionate" about anything. I don't play sports, instruments, etc. I only have a couple ideas. One is procrastination - I am horrible for that. Another is public speaking - I hate it.

If you think I should write about procrastination or public speaking, please provide some main points I should make.
