does anybody know the difference between a criminal and a magistrates' case?..and pls give an example if you could...thanks!

A Magistrate case is someone with limited power such as a justice of the peace that can settle the dispute
Crimminal case
Only prosecutors, elected officials, or their staffs can institute criminal proceedings, with a judge, that is in most cases an elected official that was at one time a lawyer.
