Electrical power at low frequencies is generally "transmitted"via cable or wire as in 60 Hz electrical power to a community . Long distant - low frequency electrical power is transmitted as VLF (very low frequency) worldwide and requires a very large antenna.
High frequency transmission as in television or cellular digitized data is seldom done on wire but more towards RF or radio frequencies (over the air) VHF or very high frequency say 100 MHz and above.
