Propaganda is something that can hurt or help you. It can make you better or it can make you worse. For example, persuading people to go against something wrong can make society better. There is the fact, though, that Hitler used it to convince millions of people jews were the bad guys. There are many forms of propaganda, seen in commercials, billboards, and magazines. It is used to influence opinions and ‘bend’ the truth. Does society really need propaganda today?

I hate this book.
Anyways, I have an essay that's due, I really need help. The prompt is,
"Individual who go along with the majority without question can arguably share a significant portion of the blame when events go badly. Considering 1984, decide why people like Parsons are the epitome of the person this society can and does produce. How do characters like this reflect on Orwell's society? Ours? Look beyond Parsons alone, and develop an interpretation of 1984 based around individuality, freedom of thought, and mindless acquiescence-be sure to use several other characters to give a complete view.
Similarly, connect the role of children in this society: what do the actions of these young people indicate about the nature of learning, in connect with the ideas listed above?

so basically, the topic's going to be about why people like Parsons a perfect example of what the society can produce, right? but how am I supposed to connect all it's asking into an essay. thanks.

In social, I have to make a presentation that shows who I am. It's supposed to display what makes me, me. From my hobbies to my heritage, to friends and family. This seems fairly easy right? Well my teacher asked us to make a CREATIVE presentation....and I have no idea how I am going to present this. I don't want to be unorigional and do a powerpoint, or collage with speech. I am having so much trouble with adverbs. I couldn't pick out an adverb if it saved my life! Anyway, does anybody know any tips or something about picking out adverbs?

I mean in this example for instance: Where do you go to school?
How is there an adverb it that?
