Homework Help - September 2007

Im taking a class where we have to find to papers/articles, with one being peer-reviewed and the other being non-peer reviewed.

My teacher didnt tell us what distinguishes the two, except for the fact the peer-reviewed article is longer.

I have found one article, I think its peer-reviewed. Could someone verifiy this for me? Below is a link to the article

As part of the Yearbook Team, we've been asked to come up with a title for the yearbook that we can keep year after year instead of picking a theme/title every year. Does anyone have any ideas? I have less then 24 hours to prepare for my speech which i am gonna do tomorrow morning, I am gonna be in front of 13-15 year olds and a boy who i like, I know that 1 thing i can do is picture then in their underwear but i got a bad pic last time. I missed the first few days of class, the notes I got were not helpful, and neither was the book -

Euclidean geometry: "the collection of propositions about figures which includes or from which can be deduced by those given by the mathematician Eucilid".
non-Euclidean geometry: "geometry in which the postulates are not the same as those in Euclidean geometry."

we've been using these terms before, but they weren't "defined" until page 40. further explanations please?

Dear Editor,

A few days ago I read a book by a certain little known author. Even though the plot wasn’t concise and there was no description I still enjoyed it immensely because this author was considerably good at creating their characters. I have read many books by many novelists and none of them conveyed such an in depth character like this one did. Most authors forget to mention the characters thoughts and feelings more often and express what is unique about them, this is what makes a character attractive and keeps the reader wanting more.
Now that I have said that I’d like to bring an issue that is very concerning to our society and it is that children do not use and enjoy literature as much as previous generations. They prefer to play electronic games and watch TV when they should be learning by reading. I think that if authors paid more attention to their characters and added quirky habits about them that a real child might have, that this would case children to read more. I believe that if writers were more educated in this subject we would see children continuously reading and perhaps even writing a piece of fiction themselves.
