For a start let's have some trick ones.

The months of the year from September are names after the number of the month in the year they represent so
September is the seventh month
October the eighth month
November the ninth month and
December the tenth month

This is because the Roman year had only ten months, June and July were added later.

There are lots of words beginning with Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec such as

Septimus (Traditionally a name given to a seventh son)
Octopus, sea creature with eight tentacles
Novennial, every nine years
Decimate , cut by one tenth.

Get a good dictionary for more like those.

There are also others like

Teenager
Octogenarian (Someone in his eighties)
Duel (fight between two people).
Monocle (One piece eyeglass)
Biped (two legged creature)
Quadruped (Four legs)
Quadrangle (area with four sides)
Sextant (The sixth part of a circle)
Centenary (100 years anniversary)
Century (period of 100 years)
Millennium (Period of 1,000 years)
Millipede (Creature with, supposedly, 1,000 legs)
Centipede (same but only 100 legs)
Duotone (Two coloured drawing)
Tripod (three legged article)
Bifocal (Glasses with two types of focusing)
Cinquefoil (Flower with five petals)
Quatrain (poem with four lines)

There's a few examples
