One thing I've noticed is that I really have a hard time comprehending concepts and what is being taught in class. I struggle a lot of the time because I don't understand the material. And even worse, sometimes when I think I understand the material very well and get back test results, I find out that I really did not know the material as well as I thought I did. What can I do in class to help me concentrate and understand what is being taught better?

The first impression is that she is shy
but looks can be deceiving
poeple are more than what meets the eye
seeing is not always beleiving

don't judge right away, not now, not ever
That makes me wanna scream.

On the inside she's very wild
She's not as calm as you may think
She really isn't that mild

I'm having a tough time understanding, how this amendment came about and what its original intent was, not all of the modern interpretations today. What was the purpose of it, and what did it mean during the time of the creation of the constitution. I have looked a lot pf places but i can not find any good explanation. I need a clear easy to understand explanation on what the purpose of the amendment was. I know it was something about the militia, but then I got lost. can anyone help me please.
