I'm sick to my stomache at the moment and don't know what to do. I'm currently enrolled in a different High School(home studys program). I've been researching about my course's and the courses at the public High School near me. The coures's I have takin' in my Home Study differ from the ones at the High School. I've never takin' Biology nor chemistry. I'm missing 2-3 math coures's also. I'm 2 exams away from graduating from Home study's High School but to be honest I don't want a diploma from them and want to go back to school; and another thing is is that I might have to repeat 2-3 years of high school. Is 18 years of age too old? I might be 20-21 when I graduate. Will I be better of going back or just graduating.

I was thinking about language today, and coincidently, a Rosetta Stone advertisement came on the television. If I had enough money, I'd buy a Rosetta Stone thing since all that I've heard about them is "Yeah! They're great!"

I'm interested in learning a lot of languages, and spending a million dollars per language would be hard. I guess I'm interested in learning German, Arabic, Latin, French, the list could go on. I also should sharpen up on my Spanish.

I'm playing around with the demo of Rosetta Stone and it's pretty neat, but I don't have a lot of money.

Should I just save up the money and go with Rosetta Stone? Or do you know of anything cheaper that would actually teach me?

Despite homeschoolers sharing over and over how their children are involved in activities with others and telling people over and over about various famous people who did not go to school, or who spent little time in school, why do naysayers still not get it?

Thomas Edison was homeschooled--it gave him the opportunity to learn the basics then read, read, read and experiment and bring wonderful inventions. Abraham Lincoln did not go to school. Benjamin Franklin only spent one year of his childhood in school. Neither one of the Presidents Roosevelt went to school. There are plenty of others.

How can they keep playing the same thing over and over that homeschooled kids don't get any socialization? And that their lack of contact with same-aged peers (compared to schooled kids) is a problem when a plethora of evidence from history and modern research shows that it isn't?

I've learned more on the internet and the news than I do in school so why does the government want all children to learn from a stranger while your forced to sit in a chair and if you leave your suspended or in detention.
