Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of online courses which teach written and spoken English. There are several different ways to learn English in Turkey.
1) Self Study (this can be undertaken with textbooks or online or with a combination of both).
2) Private Course (dershane). These can be expensive so ask advice from others on which is the best where you live.
3) Private tutor. You maybe able to find a native speaker of English to tutor you in exchange for sweat equity (for example you clean house for them) or for payment.
