I wasn't homeschooled but I am homeschooling my kids. My kids love it. They have no interest in going to school. We get together regularly with other homeschoolers, they take extra-curriculuar lessons like swimming and skating and music, they get to be with me and learn things at their own pace. Also, they really get to develop a strong ability to concentrate and work on what they enjoy because they're not being told to change their work every 30-45 minutes! If they want to spend an hour or more reading, fine by me! If they want to spend an hour or more drawing or painting or doing math, anything, that's great. But, that's the style that I've chosen. Not every homeschooling parent homeschools the same way. It's a shame there are kids who hated homeschooling because their parents didn't make sure to have some contact with other people. It's also a shame the kids didn't speak up and find ways to have more contact with others.

I have did homeschooling my 10th grade year, but i graduated in 2005, i liked it very much. It was so easy, and if you don't understand something , it is easy for you to get help, without worrying about people being around or what they think. It probably depends on the teacher u have. My teacher was very easy, and I only did it 1 hour a day, or if i miss a day maybe do 2 hours, I like it very much

WELL i homeschooled since 4 th grade for 5 years and i HATED it it sucks its boring you have no social life lose all ur friends and i hate it if u r very patient then ok but if not dont do it buit ur opinon but i am goin to highschool 9th grade so i am scared so i hope i like it better

I was homeschooled k-12 and love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

I hated it. I did it for 2 monthes then switched back to public school.
