f(x)= 4x
g(x)= 2x-1
h(x)- x^2+1
h(f(1/4))
1. work from the inside out
2. f(1/4)= 4 X 1/4
f(1/4)=1
3. h(1) = 1^2 +1
4. h(1) = 2

Start off with f(1/4)=4(1/4)=1. Then h(1)=1^2+1 = 1+1 = 2
Final answer = 2 Yay!

here you go!
h(f(1/4)) = h{4X(1/4)}
= h(1)
= (1^2)+1
= 1+1
= 2

oh nevermind... you don't even need the g(x)=2x-1 part...
f(x)=4x
f(1/4)=4(1/4) = 1
h(x)=(x^2)+1
h(1)=(1^2)+1
h(1)= 1 + 1 = 2
2 is the answer
