Hi guys
i'm a freshman in highschool right now, but i'm really concerned about my chances of getting into a good college. my current gpa is 3.6 and i am in math club and going to do soccer in the spring. i am currently taking all periods and no off periods and plan to do that for my entire time at the high school. i am going to join key club next year, and play tennis and either basketball wrestling. i think this will help my chances in getting into a good college. also, i'm only a freshman, so i still have time to raise my gpa and get in community service hours. i know colleges are looking for people who stand out from the crowd. i have a youtube account and make vlogs, and now everyone in the school knows me. does that count? what else should I do?
please tell me all the advice you can give me!!!

In certain polynomials there are several approaches and only some lead to the correct answer. For example.144a^2-64b^2.
I would see that it is difference of squares and make it (12a-8b)(12a+8b) However it is not the right answer. Is there a order of things to look for when factoring polynomials. Like GCF first than difference of squares then square roots?

My kids are in a Private school and we are planning to move in Jan. I do not want to enroll them in school that late in the school year. I am planning on homeschooling. My question is, how do i pick up where they left off? I also want to use the Abeka curriculum, but I dont want to have to buy the whole eyar curriculum for a few months! What are my options?

ohmygoodness. Well I need some serious motivation here. I've missed about three weeks in total of school already and I just want to keep skipping. My work has not been best quality, I hand it in late, I have horrible study habits. I've never had such problems with school, but with high school I just dont care anymore. It really scares me, I do not want to fail and I realise I need to start picking things up.

Does anyone have any motivational tips/study tips anything to help me keep on top of my work?
As well as how many school days am I allowed to miss? Can I make up for it in second semester? Thanks everyone :)

I'm not really sure what i want to major in, i mean, i have ideas, but no definite answer yet. the careers i choose are so far apart on the food chain, that its strange how two opposites are what I'm interested in.

my first choice has always been criminal justice (forensic/ crime scene investigation)

my second choice is not even closely related. Culinary. I always dreamed of owning my own restaurant, and being the head chef.

i am aware that i will be able to change my major as many times necessary, but i want to know how i can actually choose what it is i want to do for the rest of my life.

i know this is a very difficult question to answer (i am also aware that my grammar isn't perfect {it is late and i am tired}), and I'm not really sure what my question is, so if it is possible, please help with my dilemma.

I know this probably sounds like a stupid stupid question ..but when i transfer to a University ...and you are suppose to have a lap top , where do you right your notes in their and etc .....can you tell me a little bit about it and more ???
