I am just curious; because I believe a well know home school basher (who claims to be a teacher) used it as "evidence" AGAINST home schooling in another question. I wonder if this person really can believe that those reasons are legit, and if so what in the world is this person doing teaching children?Very scary. Here is the wesite I found the satire:

I want to take a semester off of school. I've been going to college now for 5 1/2 years. I feel so burned out and drained. I am also worried because I get off my parents insurance in 2008 in May. I want to work and get my own insurance so that I'm not screwed over. What do you think is this a good or bad idea. I would work while I go to school but it's hard for me because I have a learning disability. Any suggestions for me?

So, I've been to college for years and I've never gone. Today, I have an appointment with one. Originally, I thought the job of a student adviser was to figure out schedules, give advice on classes, and help with the student's career track. So, I was going to discuss that with her but now I'm worried that I got an appointment with the wrong person! Help! What is the purpose of a student adviser and what type of questions are usually asked to them?
