Vascular have a system that is intricate and the plant can move water to distribute it to the whole plant. Vascular plants are able to grow bigger due to this ability.
Ex: Trees, flowers

Nonvascular plants are usually small plants that are close to the ground. They do not have a very complex water distribution and for this reason cannot support large growth.
Ex: moss

Hope this helped!

Vascular plants are more well developed, meaning that they have the necessary tools given to them so that they could grow bigger and compete better with other organisms. Non-vascular plants have more problems growing large enough to compete with the bigger plants that take up most of the light that the smaller non-vascular plants need.

Non-vascular plants appear leafy, but lack true stems, roots or leaves. Since they lack vascular tissue, they are limited in size and are generally found in moist habitats. Vascular plants have an internal transport system and are more structurally and functionally complex; these plants do have roots, stems, and leaves.
By the way, nice pic(ture).
