Pretty much all wheels are cylindrical. Car tires, for instance - they just have a height somewhat less than their radius. Bicycle tires, wagon wheels - all of those. People get the impression that a cylinder has to be tall - there are short cylinders in the world, too.

A rolling pin, steam roller (diesal), a duplicating machine wheel (drum), the paper-moving wheels in a printer, spool winder (in a camera), chair rollers - look aroind your house; you're bound to find more examples.

Paper towel rolls. Paint rollers. Copy machine inside (lots in there).
