I'm currently finishing an undergrad in marketing with double minors in communications and finance.

I'm wondering if there are any schools/institutes out there that offer well-known advertising programs that are great bridges to getting a successful high-earning advertisement job afterwards?

Thanks in advance

I've heard geds are easy from about 4/5 people.

I have four years left of high school, and 4 months of studying sounds a lot better than four years.

I know there's a chance a ged won't get me as much money, but I just want to know if its harder then high school.

School work comes hard to me. Working (even very hard) is a lot easier to me. So I want to get done with school and start spending a lot of time working.

One more thing, I think they changed the ged test in 2001 and made it harder. So it would help you if have taken it after that time.

Engineering is not regarded as a profession like medicine or law for a variety of reasons. Some of these reasons include:

•the number of different professional engineering societies, •the fact that engineering societies are not a powerful as the AMA and the ABA,
•that both law and medicine require licenses granted by the state in order to practice,
•that engineering doesn’t have the social stature that law and medicine have (a fact
that is reflected in the lower pay that engineers receive as compared to that of lawyers and doctors).

Despite these differences, on balance, engineering is still clearly a profession, albeit one that is not as mature as medicine and law and that should be striving.

I would LOVE to know what people think about this!!

When I was a kid, my mother painted a dry sink with the words for "He who is late for dinner gets what's left." It starts "Die wo net kumma ..." I don't know German and can't remember any more of the original. It was a collaboration between my mother and her father, who was Pennsylvania Dutch on one side and naturalized German-American on the other. The dry sink (sort of a kitchen cabinet with 2 doors under a drawer and an open top area with a 4" high edging around it) was in our dining room until the house was sold.

Flying high like the sun,
Soaring in the blue vastness of
the mountain sky
Descending, diving like a rock dropped out of the heavens,
Screeching as it races fast as light, down at unsuspecting prey,
Plunging into icy water with all of Earth's harshness
Reappearing from the water's darkness,
Climbing up, up into the sky,
Shedding water off its wings, now glistening like diamonds,
as it speeds, higher, higher into the crystal heavens
Stopping its speeding climb,
it peaks, levels and circles once again
The world down below seems to applaud its amazing feat,
the wind whistles with amazement
The water sore from its ripping talons, which slashed the clear water's surface
causing ripples in agony,
making only minimal noise compared to the damage it suffered

I currently attend NYU-Stern as an undergrad and I've decided that it's not really for me. I want to spend my undergraduate years studying liberal arts because I plan on pursuing an MBA anyway. Is it difficult transferring to a top liberal arts college from a business school like Stern? I've been looking at Amherst a lot and it seems like exactly what I want.

LAST SPRING THE 4,400 STUDENTS at Santa Fe High School, which is part of a school district near Galveston, Tex., voted to elect one of their number to deliver an inspirational message before the home games of the school's football team. Marian Ward, the senior chosen, was warned by school administrators not to include any words that could be considered a prayer. That was because earlier in 1999, a three-member panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, which is based in New Orleans, had ruled that student-led non-sectarian prayers can be allowed at graduation exercises, since these are solemn milestone events, but such prayers are not permissible at football games
