URGENT, I NEED ANSWERS FAST!! PLEASE HELP!!
1. What weather conditions are favorable for the development of a hurricane?
2. Explain why the intensity of a hurricane decreases when it reaches land.
3. Compare the difference between a tropical storm and a hurricane.
4. As a hurricane strikes the shoreline, state TWO dangerous conditions that could cause damage.
5. A hurricane warning is announced for the south shore of L.I. area. Describe TWO ways that families can prepare for a hurricane emergency.

and then we were going to put 09 so fine


but we already used the word fine so i wanted to use something different under the mascot any ideas???

If there is one thing that always gets to me, it's when people put education equal to intelligence.

Now I've a pretty high IQ and I don't brag about things that I don't have, and I've never even as much as finished my secondary school - because education there was not good enough to my standards.

that would make you think, if standards are so low - and the standards here are said to be some of the highest in Europe - and people can get their certs with no problem, what use does education still have?

I am currently enrolled back into secondary school (home schooling because I work for a living) just because it is impossible for me to get a better job, regardless of my intelligence, without a degree of any sort!

Would you rather hire someone with brains without a degree or an eejit with a degree? If I was an employer my choice would have been easily made.
But employers still go for the education, blissfully unaware they hire eejits as well.

Is education not overrated?

I was wondering what age i have the intellegence of.
I get straight A's on my report card (except for gym XD too lazy)
I've gotten 140+ on IQ tests i take online (such as tickle.com)
I average a 85 on my report card
I understand things such as quantum physics and EEG (electroencephalography or something like that)
Im not in a gifted class
Im 12 years old in grade 7

Is this a normal amount of intellegence for my age? I mean, like, im not in a gifted class yet people say im really smart. Im just wondering if its normal or not..

I will be home schooling my son (2 1/2 years old), and am trying to figure out what aproch will work best for us. At the monment I am intrested in child-led/unschooling, but as he gets older there will be times when I may incorperate more formal aspects of education.

1) what aproch(es) have you use?
2) what is the basic principals/phlioshopy behing the method?
3) pros and cons- what worked and what didn't?
4) web site or link for more info on the method?
