I was wondering what age i have the intellegence of.
I get straight A's on my report card (except for gym XD too lazy)
I've gotten 140+ on IQ tests i take online (such as tickle.com)
I average a 85 on my report card
I understand things such as quantum physics and EEG (electroencephalography or something like that)
Im not in a gifted class
Im 12 years old in grade 7

Is this a normal amount of intellegence for my age? I mean, like, im not in a gifted class yet people say im really smart. Im just wondering if its normal or not..

You seem pretty intelligent but dont confuse smart, intellgient and knowledgeable. Those are 3 different things, albeit related. IQ tests dont really measure much besides your attention to detail and to solving a problem. You should be in honors classes if you are truly as smart as it states on paper but its not so much who you are that defines you, its what you do that defines you.

You are probably above average for many kids your age but that doesnt mean you are better than them or they better than you. Intelligence really cant be quantified for any age, because its something that we have little control over. We can increase our knowledge infinitely and still not be that intelligent. I define intelligence as how one is able to perceive and adapt to their surroundings. If you can do well in your classes and still maintain a great social communication with your peers, then you, my friend, are a very intelligent person. Many people can master everything in school and still find it difficult to survive in a social environment.

Look outside your academics and gauge how well you interact with others.

IQ is not measured in ages.

Well, they do have IQ tests made for under-18's and over-18's, because of the obvious fact that some questions in those tests require knowledge rather than pure wit.

So, at any age, you have a very above average intelligence quotient. I've basically the same quotient compared to age etc... and before I got tired with school as a whole because they didn't teach me much new anymore, I averaged a 90%. I also had a strong dislike for PE class, even though if I put my mind to it, I was pretty good at it (I am very flexible by nature) but, like you, I was just too lazy to up and break a sweat only because they told me so.

Like you I was never put in a 'gifted class' merely because the system couldn't afford to create a special class for a minority of students of about 2% at most. My parents had been offered to skip a couple of grades, but my mother didn't see it fit as an idea, because my physique (I'm tiny, really, especially compared to what is generally the norm in this country) and my age (I was born in November, so I was generally the youngest one in class already...) and children, even students in secondary school and sometimes college (it happens) can be very cruel. Well people in general can be very cruel when they are jealous of something they don't have, as I've noticed more than once.

So don't worry. Your intelligence is very much above average, just be proud of it!

You're smart for your age and your intelligence could be equivalent to someone from gr 9. An IQ of 140+ is above normal people so you're probably capable to skip a grade. I don't know if you work hard in school or not but if you just listen in class and get an average of 85 then that's very good. Though since you're in gr 7 and from a school that I'm not familiar with my assumptions could be wrong. Some schools are very strict and they give low marks while others are more lenient. But I think you're pretty smart. Smarter than me if you were the same age as me.

Everyone one ranges in their level of intellect!1 While you may seem brilliant in some things such as quantam math you may not be able to tie a granny knot or a double loop!!!Embrace the fact that you have extraordinary talents in some area's and use them to your advantage. You could be the smartest person in the world but if you choose to not use it correctly it wont matter!!!

you may desire to in no way sense dumb for being responsive to your guy or woman thinking. in any different case that's a contradiction! Relative IQ and day by day elementary experience, usefulness, progression and so on, are many times distinctive. There are college professors and medical doctors with extreme IQ quotients that are as dumb as canines sh**t while it comes right down to it. do not stress regarding the on-paper-data concerning IQ. extra considerable to examine how nicely you carry out as someone.

No, you are not normal (and should be happy about that!). Normal would be an IQ of 100 (which is pretty dull)
