I am an undergraduate at a United States university. After getting my degree in four years could I go to law school in Ireland (I would remain there permanently)? Is it even called law school in Ireland? I heard something about King's Inn in Dublin. Would an irish "law school recognize my four year american degree from a relatively decent college (Catholic University of America). also how long does law school take in ireland or it's equivalent. I am of course referring to the Republic of Ireland. Thanks.

I am a student teacher in a middle school science classroom. I pride myself on being a progressive teacher, and I try to use a lot of project and imagination based learning, rather than the traditional 'test what is known and regurgitate the facts' type of science classroom. We have done projects ranging from writing creation myths (to explore ancient ideas of the Earth, and how it relates to the other heavenly bodies) to creating 'life' on other solar bodies (to discover the conditions that would exist on other planets/worlds).

I have had some students been resistent to these projects, and would much rather do traditional reports rather than have to use their imagination. What are some ideas as to which style is more effective, and any other advice I would appreciate.

Americans hold a negative stereotype of homeschooling. How do you defend your decision to homeschool your children to those who criticize that it is not in their better interest?

thanks for your input.

i was wondering what it would be like to attend a college that is hundreds of miles away from where i grew up. Right now I live in Texas, but im thinking about going to Washington for college.
if you've done this...
were you home sick? how did you handle it?
if you have a personal experience that you could share, that would be great.
