Hi, I will be attending college for the first time and I was wondering since I am going part-time will I graduate on time, the same, as a full-time student, or will it take me longer due to the fact that I will be going part-time?

Most schools require around 180 quarter credits to graduate with a Bacholors Degree. If you are only taking 6 credits a quarter and go all quarters that will only add up to 96 hours in four years.

Unless you go year round (summer and winter classes) you most likely will not graduate on time. A full time student counts as 12 credited hours, to graduate on time you may need 20-30 credits a YEAR to graduate on time. Good luck.

Since you are going part time, you most likely will not finish when everyone else who starts with you does.. because of all the extra classes that they make people take.. like me.. do i really need art for nursing.. i dont think I need to know how to paint! haha

good luck with school!!

It might take you a little longer. Depends on how many credits you need to graduate.

It will take you longer to get enough credits to graduate.

Probably longer- plus it might also depend on what kind of major you have- you may have to take more classes, or less classes.
