im a junior and never took AP courses. actually it's my first year in america. im thinking about taking AP courses next year (govt/econ, calculus). i also want to take AP chem but im not sure if it will be too hard for me. im taking physics now and the only science course left is AP chem. i already took chemistry last year when i was in finland (IB), but there's no other science courses that r AP courses. or should i just pick something easy since it's my senior year and it's gonna be tough?

My daughter may be dyslexic, her school said I should get her tested by a doctor, but has not told me what kind. Even after I asked them point plank!! Very frustrating

Okay my english10 teacher gave us an assignment to write to our owner if we were a shoe. So, is this sentence correct ?

I was invented to be worn only in the summer, but you have worn my everyday for the past three years.

Microsoft Word says that "I was invented to be worn" is incorrect.

i got this job at my school during the morning announcements to do quotes of the day i cant fin anything good most of the ones i fin are from people I've never heard of so people at my school never heard of . if they are from people i have heard of they are people who have been dead along time like presidents and writers and Einstein people wont like any of the quotes i find about them are all boring things nobody wants to listen to . anything funny doesn't say who said it. and they have to be quotes to appease a large audience somethings only a certain group of people will like . i mean what can i say that the people who set the opinions of everyone else like you know the ones who make it loud and clear what they think won't say anything about . i personally don't like the idea of doing this we did it in elementary i and everyone else thought it was stupid. maybe it would be possible to make it funny. that would make people listen and laugh for the right reasons

that the people who wish to insult something or someone to appear more intelligent always seem to do so with inappropriate wording (ex. calling a book "derivative nonsense," derivative of what?) or with horrible grammar or spelling? It seems that if you want to make yourself appear more intelligent than the asker, you would at least research your definitions and be sure you are spelling your words correctly before you do so. I just wonder if anyone else has noticed this oddity.

For an english assignment, I have to compare/contrast the mythical elements of "The Once And Future King" with a movie of our choice. I was thinking of picking Chronicles of Narnia because i have seen it, and i haven't seen Eragon and i don't have enuff time to watch Eragon twice and write a report while i can just rent the dvd of chronicles of narnia. But, chronicles of narnia doesn't have a meeting w/goddess where character gets special power, atonement w/father. I did really good in science and math and on the rest was really not that good, and got a 4.00 as my score. I was just wondering if I passed or if it is a good enough score to still get in to a collage.
Is 4.00 just the same as getting a 4.0 or a really low score?
