Ive given my gf a couple of presents over the last 11 months, but i havent received a single one from her. Even on christmas or our anniversary. What does that mean??

I'm a junior in high school, and my main strength is my GPA (around a 4.3 w/some honors and AP classes). Has anyone had success getting a merit scholarship, because I have heard it is a lot more difficult to come by then, say, an athletic scholarship or a music scholarship...at least to get one that is large enough to make a difference on the tab.

So, my assignment is to come up with a behavior that would have two different interpretations in two different situations. An example would be a football player congratulates his teammates by patting his butt or bumping chests. This wouldn't be ok to do to his grandmother. I'm not allowed to use that example, so I need something different. It's a simple assignment, but I'm drawing a blank!

I am a high school senior. I have roughly a rough 70-75 GPA . Im looking for a small business school to start off for a year so i can prove myself with a solid year of good grades and transfer to a better school. I didn't write this poem, but it was mentioned in a book I read so I looked it up online. God is there for us. I really like it- what are your thoughts on it?

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you.”

I have a 3.1 GPA average. Despite that, i have alot of community service that I do and I'm also really involved in a non-profit organization helping children in 3rd world countries. I also go to a really good high school that I know has a lot of weight when applying to colleges. My grades the past two years (I'm a junior right now) have not been the greatest (around a B- average), however I know i can do well on my SAT and SAT II and the rest of school years.

What colleges would you say are in my range (I would prefer the Northeast/California)





what would you say are my chances of getting into a place like.. lets say BU?

I would like to know from any XRAY techs out there if your initial training into the field mattered whether or not it was achieved by means of an associates degree or if simply a certificate program that allowed you to take your certification exam through ARRT would work?

I'm shooting for a rad-tech program which would give me an Associates of APP Science, but the program is extremely difficult to get into because of the number of applicants for the program. I only have 3 B's and 9 A's on my transcripts but those 3 B's are causing me not to get into the program. I can retake the courses and wait another year to get into the program, but then I'm looking at almost 4-5 years just to get an associates degree? (once in the program it's 2 years w/ clinicals) -OR- There is a certificate program I could get into this summer (2 yrs also) that is accredited by ARRT, that would get my radiology training started this year. SO-which is better, certificate or an associates degree? Thanks!

Im a freshman and iv had spanish for the past 8 yrs, but my techers have all tried to teach me a difrent countries spanish and they wernt really teaching us. 1 of the teachers thay i had for 2 yrs tried to teach our class french. this yr i have a teacher who is actualy spanish, but she doesnt help me. i have to get my yfriends to help me.
