Saturday if you're Moslem; Sunday if you're Jewish, and Monday if you're Christian (with a few exceptions such as Jehovah's Witnesses).

First day of the week should practically be Monday, but theoritically it is Sunday.
In the Bible God had finished his creation on the 6th day and rested on the Sabbath Day _ Sunday ! Therefore he began his work on a Monday.
If you ask a Nursery Student you'll see they'll start with Sunday _ that is what they teach in school.
Calenders too start with Sunday first _ WEIRD.

Id say monday Because it is the FIRST working day of the week in most of britain, also SUnday is a day of rest and you usually need a rest at the end of things..
