I am taking 12 units this semester and I've just been such a slacker this Fall. I literally think I've been to one of my classes about 7 times (I think it meets 32 times by the end of the semester). I'll probably get a B. My other 3 I've probably attended about 50% of the time, and will most likely get 2 Bs and an A. I always cram for tests the night before and get As. It's usually the h/w or in class assignments that bring my grade down. When I attend all my classes, as I have in previous semesters, I will usually get about a 3.8 gpa, sometimes 4.0.

Sometimes I wish college wasn't so easy so I would HAVE to go. But sometimes it just seems like a waste of time. Don't get me wrong, I love to learn new things and enjoy a good class. But this semester was just a bore.

It seems like MANY of my classmates struggle with the work AND are there everyday. I just don't get it.
I'm not trying to sound conceited or anything. I'm just wondering who else experiences this?

Hi, I just started a high school computer club and we do not have any ideas on what we should do for the club or what contribute to our school. Do you any ideas for activities, events, or something that we can do to promote computer and technology?

So far our school has a website and we are trying to get the approval to do it from the school district. We decided no to Lan Party, since it is to big of a problem for our school. But the idea to build old computers for the needy sounds great. One idea we have is to give out ubuntu CDs and teach how to use Linux

My 10th grade daughter is failing biology and has to come up with a really good "story board" kind of presentation on the topic of "Africanized Killer Bees". I showed her all the good web sites and she has accumulated a lot of facts. What I want to know is - what would be the best way for her to put together a really good presentation, to wow her teacher and pull off a good grade? She hates this class and isn't interested in the topic. It was assigned, and is due next week. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please don't give web sites, she already has tons of facts, just needs some suggestions on how to present it all. We also found a web site that has a recording of the actual sound of a swarm. Any ideas on how this can be recorded and included in the presentation? Thanks!
