My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I'm right.

The fellow who thinks he knows it all is especially annoying to those of us who do.

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.

To be absolutely certain about something, one must know everything or nothing about it.

It is better to deserve honors and not have them than to have them and not deserve them.

Something about "all it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to stand by and do nothing about it". I don't think those were the exact words but close.

to the standards.
People are asking for homework help for 'the great gatsby', whilst others remember studying 'the handmaidens tale' at 'A-Level'.
Is it just me or has the standard dropped?

hello everyone, I am 18 years old and studying in a college, I made it to one of the best universities because I had high grades, although my problem is that I can't study......
Its my second year in college, last year I got a very high grade but seriously it was like wow, like every year from the beginning of high school because I really don't study at all unless there is an exam for example I start studying if the exam is after tommorow. What helps me is that I attend all lectures and understand everything well but when I go back home I feel like no no no I will not study I will have more time tommorow and tommorow happens the same....
I feel very much anger (from mycelf) when I see people studying and I mycelf didn't open a book from the beggining of the term, I would like someone to help me with this problem
you will tell me that I get high grades in the end, but I feel very much pressure throughout the year and before the exams because i know that I dont study and I could fail.

This summer I managed to enter one school where I can get PhD degree in economics. But I didn't expect it to be so intensive. Besides I'm not so mathematically inclined as they want people to be here. I'm not really happy with styding in this school. I do not like the economics they study here at all. I feel over-stressed, I have insomnia and I do not have full-fledged week-ends as we always have many homeworks to do and as it is really complicated doing them takes all my "free" time. But in this school I get stipend and good accomodation. Now I have another option to choose but without a stipend. Only with subjects I will really enjoy to study. What should I do? I do not have enough courage to make an appropriate decision although I know the one that will suit me. All people in my present school will think that I am weak and stupid in case of my dropping out. I'm lost in my own thoughts. How to make a right decision?
