My child is gifted and ADHD. He is one grade ahead in school and is enrolled in college prep school. Because of ADHD, he doesn't do all his work, which keeps his grades down. He takes ADHD medication, is involved in therapy for depression ( which he has always had in some form or other) and plays soccer. He could qualify for disability but i have resisted it because i don't want it to trip him up in the future. I have avoided IEP for same reason. Is there anything more i can do for this child? Wisdom appreciated!

Hi im so confused on this topic quite a bit because nobody can help me out with it. So here is my question, what is the best choice for a career and future in Japan. I have memorized the basics of the written part and spoken part so far, so to learn the rest i need to have at least 2 yrs of college education but what should i promote my life to getting a masters then maybe a doctorate in? My best subjects are History, Science, and English and even willing to see about any Technology careers. I've thought about being a Teacher somewhat but am not really sure on the subject even though there is a high demand for them especially in English but as i said i'm not really sure. Oh so confusing i just want to now all the pieces are on the chess board before i make a move but all i have so far is a few pawns. So please help me out if anyone has any info i will be most grateful on the subject. Thank you

Many definitions of the Present Progressive tense imply that it can only be used for action or state of events which started in the past and is now complete e.g. I have finished my homework.

BUT surely

I have know him for three years

and

I have worked here for three years

are examples of the Present Perfect Tense but the action is ongoing.... so can Present Perfect Tense be used for an action which is NOT YET complete?

Many thanks!

If you start a policy in your school against bullying, teasing,.. How can you explain what you are trying to achieve? (with that policy). Of course that's preventing bullying, but what else, or how can you explain this in a better way?
Thanks a lot!
