well, as we already know 20,000 American( catholic and Jew) turn to Islam yearly after 9\11...and few on non-Muslim people say that Islam is against women and treats her bad. then why 60% of the 20,000 above are American women? I don't think they left the best for the worse!!!!!!!!! cause no body made them do that ..so i REALLY WANNA KNOW WHY? my answer. Islam is the best. what about yours?

Because Islam is not against women. In fact, many women find it an empowering faith. It was one of the first to allow women to divorce their husbands and women are treated with respect (which in some strict sects is unfortunately used as an excuse to subjugate women). In a culture that is so hung up on shallow things like looks and fashion a faith where women cover themselves is a great pull, as is the fact that unlike other religions, in my general experience, Islam respects other faiths and allows people to still believe in Christ.

Islam is the best? Well, most conversions are from the heart. However, woman will never be equal with men... they still have to use a separate entry from the men, and can't pray with the men. It's not that Islamic men abuse women, cause all men abuse women, it is that it is ACCEPTABLE in the islamic faith to abuse women; rape, torture, murder... not to mention public humiliation, verbal abuse, including a constant barrage of anger and screaming at their wives and daughters. They are thought of less than property. So, have at it... I will say that American women are treated better, because, even though abuse happens here, it is totally socially unnacceptable.
