My friend Deborah runs a Web site about homeschooling and literature and she publishes anicdotes people send in about cute things their kids said related to knowledge and education. Do any of you who homeschool have cute stories like that you'd like to share? If you do I'll see if she will put them on her Web site so that all homeschoolers can see them. You can either post stories here or send them straight to her Web site at:

http://www.wordsonus.com/feedback/feedback.html (Select "Out of the Mouths of Babes -- that's what she calls the column)

I really appreciate it, she didn't ask me to but I want to help her site get fun material.

The U.S. Congress approved the North American Free Trade Agreement despite strong opposition from organized labor. What motivated labor’s stand? Have labor’s forecasts turned out to be correct?

Well, I applied to law school so far four times... the first time, one law school did accept me but I started feeling overwhelmed by the commitment so I declined the offer. I was turned down by all law schools, since then, the last three years I applied.

Part of me can visualize myself as a good attorney, but the other part wonders if I'll be swift enough to win cases. I'm not too strong, analytically speaking, and I know that's it's key to be sharp, in that arena, especially when researching statutes and such.

I'm in my 30s now and have worked many years as a paralegal. Now, I'm temping as one. Although I'm single w/ no kids, I'm worried about my future, financially speaking, when I do one day find the right woman, get married and have kids. With my earnings now, there's no way I would be able to provide a better future than I had growing up.

Should I give law school one more try or forget about it and investigate other careers?

it's something along the lines of "there's a reason we call fires "she", because of their beauty, and allure, and their ravishing beauty, and their power, and if you get to close, you will get burnt"

I am working part time, full time summer, and going to a private college with very high tuition, which is local. I would like to transfer to a public school with much more opportunity. My job is great and they want me to work here after graduation. The tuition debt would be far less, but the travel would be greatly increased. What do you all think.
