a rational number is that can be expressed as a fraction of the form a/b where a & b are integers and b is not 0

now, -1/2, -1/3, ...., - 1/100000 are all rational numbers within the given limits (-20,20)

as one can see, there can be infinite number of rational numbers within ANY given interval

there are to many to count but a rational number is a fraction whole number or any number that comes oput clean like 9.1818181818181818... becuase it repeats over and over again
