I like a little salty foods. No too salty. I like pork. I don't like miso and curry. I like spicy foods a liitle. Not the ones from vegetables. I don't like seafood. I also like the food a little sweet like BBQ sauce. I like mushroom soup. I want to try a Kamaboko (the pink flower shaped process fish), and I like flavors like Funions. The chips that are shaped like onions. I like other foods.

Almost everyone has a favorite dish from a restaurant. It's the one you always pipe up with, "well, you've got to try ..." whenever the topic of favorite foods come up. Personally, my favorite from a chain restaurant is the BBQ Chicken Nachos from Smokey Bones. For those who don't know it's a rib restaurant chain that is affiliated with the company who also does Red Lobster, and Olive Garden. I am not too big on BBQ, nor on chicken, but that combination is possibly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life. I just get it without the olives! Yuck! What is your favorite dish from a restaurant (prefer chain restaurants, so we all can try it!)?

So if I went out to eat and my total was 25 dollars and I have a coupon for $5 off do I tip based on the amount of the meal being $25 or $20 after the coupon?

I went out to eat a few nights ago and we paid with a gift card -- the card amount was $75 and our meal was only around $40. The waitress brought back a slip to sign with a place for a tip -- identical to a credit card slip. I filled in her tip as I would have if I paid with a credit card. Do gift cards work that way? I didn't stiff the waitress did I?

I do this mainly at buffets where the silverware is left out and not wrapped up in a napkin. I am addicted to it. I have even went as far as opening the silverware out of the napkins and rewrapping it. I then sit back and watch as others get the silverware and eat with it. Is something wrong with me since I enjoy this so much?

They appear to be a race constantly happy and living off a diet of breadsticks and watery soups and salads and constantly changing pasta dishes.

I would guess that they were Italian but I am unsure if they are a race of people who only eat at the Olive Garden. Any thoughts?

I know all the bad things about it; I want to know what the parents are thinking ?! I'm a grandma & I have decided to avoid eating out with my children/grandchildren because even tho' I have told both of my children that I think it's dangerous, they continue to allow their little kids to do it. It's not just dangerous for the kids, it's dangerous for the waiters & the other patrons, who might get something hot spilled on them. It's also irritating for the other patrons. Not to mention, it's embarrassing for me. If someone got burned or hurt, my adult kids could apologize til tomorrow & it won't take away the pain caused by their being so inconsiderate.
