There's no seating inside a Sonic, it is strictly drive-up. However, there are generally picnic tables you can walk up, order and eat at.

Yeah most are carside, and they usually do have picnic tables for you to sit at out front, but I know of a Sonic in Phoenix that you can sit inside like a typical restaurant. Check it out if you ever visit, Sonic is gooood!

First of all....(I am 47)....I was a roller skating waitress at a Sonic Restaurant in Branson, Mo. about 29 yrs ago, and I broke ALOT of cups of rootbeers!!! Sonic is fantastic!! I now live in Illinois, with my 3rd husband, and I was kindof fearful to go there because I had done so much damage in my teens to the one in Missouri....but their burgers are scrumptious, their fries and onion rings are out of this world, and their ice cream shakes, etc., are fantastic!!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!! (But you can't eat inside...it's carside!!)

I have only seen one that you could eat inside at, it was in Joplin, Mo. There was a phone at the table you ordered with.

Most Sonics have picnic tables with a order station or a walk-up order window.

Most of the food is pretty good, and the ice cream items are great. Try the Sonic Blast and the footlong coneys and tots.

If you don't have a car, usually Sonic's have picnic tables in the middle with the ordering menu at the table. You just push the button at your table and they bring it to your table. If you have never been to Sonic, highly suggest a Cherry Limeade and their burgers or a chili cheese frito wrap.

Believe it or not, there is a dine-in Sonic in Little Rock, Arkansas. The people in the neighborhood fought against having the drive-in type... and they won!!!

there are tables outside you can eat at. There is a roof over them and you do not have to stay in the car to order. The ones near me In NC do not have inside dining
