I'm thinking Pizza or my Mom's homemade Chicken Noodle Soup.
Would you choose your Moms cooking over any other just for old times sake or what?

I find it pretty irritating when you bring out a plate to somebody and they realize that there is something on the plate that they don't want, like a pickle or tomato or lettuce and instead of just picking it off they act like it's the end of the world and want you to take the food back and get them a new dinner. Sometimes I just don't realize that the cook misread my ticket or I'd just take it off myself, but seriously some people have a cow over such minor things that it amazes me. I'm just stunned at their reactions over the lettuce they didn't want on their hamburger bun. Pick it off! lmao! Anyone else who serves run into this type? What do you do? Nothing like a major production over something so miniscule!

When I traveled to China, I expertise some food that was very unlike that I am accustom to in the USA. I took photographs of some of the food that I ate. My girlfriend could not believe it. I took her to a restaurant where she could see real Chinese food (chicken feet, etc). , not Americanized Chinese. She considered in something like a ‘horror movie’.

She and I are going to spend a week in Belize (Central America) next year. Will she enjoy the food, or will she experience a crash diet for a week.

I've seen it on tv, and i know its on la brea street in los angeles. It's after "Pink's" hotdogs, and before Bestbuy and Target. I've been in the exact location.

I drove out there, and saw the billboard of hells kitchen with the satellite on top (just like in the tv show). Yet, it seems to be closed! Does it even exist? Or is it only there for the shooting of the show? The big "HK" letters on the side of the resturant aren't there anymore! I drove around the buillding to see if there is an entrance, and the whole thing seems to be closed! It is all gated. I KNOW IM AT THE RIGHT LOCATION. The clues from the show all point to it. So what's the deal? Is the resturant even open anymore? OR is it just open for shooting?

I'm not asking IF you tip. I'm asking what percent do you tip if you tip at all?

To tip or not to tip is another discussion altogether.

I normally tip 20% for good service when sitting, but have no idea what I should tip for good service when I pick up take-out. The person is doing some work to get the order together.

Is there a standard?
