The East Coast, specifically, the New York Metropolitan area. The reason why I say that is because New York is such a melting pot of diversity. You got just about every country being represented in New York and just about every cuisine, too. You got your five-star restuarants to your hole in the wall joints to your delies and your diners (Jersey are known for diners).
Other places in this country are fine; but New York and its surronded area is the place.

San Diego has the best food due to its proximity next to mexico. In San Diego you can get the best carne asada burritos on the planet. San Diego also has lots of diveristy from other cultures all around the world.

NYC, definitely. They have the best variety of everything, and by far the best pizza.
Scratch what shearnerve said about no good old southern bbq... hit up Virgil's for that.

I live in the North..I absoblutely love southern food...You wanna see a little women eat you out of town...take me for some southern food and sweet tea....i can't get enough....makes me wanna move down there! Yilkes!

Don't know about the best, for me I have my cravings & not everyplace has everything. But, NYC has the most choices of just about any food you want, except great southern BBQ.

depends on what you are in the mood for.
i personally love mexican food, so.........the southwest would be ideal for me. but i also love some good ole southern cooking, and cajun food. so if i was going for that, id have to say Louisiana. but then again, i love some greek Mediterranean food too, and that is widely available in the california state. so........you choose your flavor of the day!

Texas! We have the best Mexican, Tex-Mex , & BBQ! We are right next to Mexico and have many hispanics who know how to get the food right. As far as BBQ, well, it's Texas, nuf said!

I would say every major city has it's benefits. Visit them all and enjoy the cultural diversities known for each cities region.
