hotel food is the culprit. eat lots of veggies and fruits, drink plenty of water too. that should help. cut the red meat for sometime , especially beef. meat has no fibre which is very essential in your condition.
get some exercise too.remember constipation can lead to many other ailments and you don't want to get bogged down by that.

check at a drug store if PSYLLIUM HUSK is available, have it at night with warm milk, hot water will also do.prunes and figs are also very good in your condition.

Coco was right. But I have another suggestion. Don't eat the hotel food at all. Bring something from home. Get to a vegetable stand and steam them with very little butter and some lemon. Lemon helps to break up the "junk" in your body. Careful on the salt.
Coco was right again - lots of water!!
Hope u feel better.

Perhaps stress or perhaps the increase of protein has given you constipation. Remember meat has iron--and iron definately is constipating.
