Yes!! I love the flavour, taste and the service done by the Chinese.
I don't understand what do you mean by General Chicken!!??
Chicken can be cooked with different recepies. In India & Pakistan it is cooked with very much spicy and oily.
In US & Europe most of the fast food counters you can find fried chickens of different flavours and taste.
It is exactly the tongue requirement and the feeling while one has the chicken - The question is how much you can have at a time for the price that you pay???????

I absolutely LOVE Chinese Food (I may be biased cuz i'm Chinese-American) but really the BEST food is always straight from my grandpa's home kitchen.
There are sloppy Fast Food Chinese take out and then you have the actual sit-down waited restaurants. Now the actual sit-down restaurants are the closest thing I can get to home cook meal.
I personally don't like the fast food type because YES those are the greasy kind and they are NASTY as HELL.

"Do you like Chinese food?"
superbooks.org ANSWERS:
Generally all I used to order at a Chinese restaurant was spare ribs and rice or boneless spare ribs.
Their soup was good sometimes.
Lots of times some of the restaurants and the atmosphere was generally a turn-off - not appetizing. But most times, this was in the little 'take-out' places. (For example, I went into a take-out place once and found the lady changing her child's diaper right there behind the counter where the food was being prepared. Yes, this really happened. That didn't make me want to eat Chinese food that day ).
And, ever since that day, when I walk into a Chinese take-out restaurant, I look at all the workers behind the counter and if there are babies or children in the kitchen (where they don't belong), then I will not use that chinese restaurant.
Also, I will not order take-out unless I've been to the restaurant first and seen the premises.
MOST recently, in fact this week, I viewed a PETA film about how CHINA treats their animals and about the cruelty to dogs and cats in China and about their exporting leather. After viewing this film, this TRUE story, and seeing the video, generally I lose my appetite when going into a Chinese restaurant.
That PETA film affected me so much that I am not even enjoying my vegetarian meals at Chinese restaurants as much as I used to enjoy them.
No. I'll not stop going into Chinese Restaurants. And, I've tried to make a promise to myself that I'll not eat meat at Chinese Restaurants and not eat meat that comes from China or is in any way connected to China.
But, yes, I'm human , there will be a day or two where I most likely will go into a restaurant and perhaps order the spare ribs..but that might happen just once or twice a year as opposed to that happening ten or fifteen or twenty times a year.
I cannot save the world and I cannot stop the cruelty to animals that happens in China, but I can try and do my part by cutting down on Chinese imports whether that be meat or leather or related items.
What did I see on the PETA video?
I saw dogs and cats -yes, dogs and cats , in China, huddled in tiny wire cages. The cages were piled on top of each other and the cats and dogs were being beaten and treated cruelly right through the cages. Animals were being skinned ALIVE, and the animals were living lives of hell in those cages in China.
The whole point of the video was to show what's happening in China, and to show that there is no government regulation in China that protects the animals who live there.
The only thing that we, as humans can do , to help is to cut down on our consumption of meat that comes from China or that is sold in Chinese restaurants --a s a protest to this cruelty overseas.
And if we can , boycott their meat and leather totally .
The other thing we can do is to support PETA --People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals -Look it up on the web.
Do I like Chinese food? No. Not any more.
It simply makes me lose my appetite most times.
I do not like Chinese food and I do not like what the Chinese people and the Chinese government do to their poor cats and dogs and other animals that are over there.

Yes, I love Chinese food! Actually, I asked my now wife to be my girlfriend at a chinese restuarant and then asked her to marry me through a fortune cookie at the same table in the same restuarant. We both enjoy their food very much. I like sweet-n-sour chicken, and pork lo mein. My wife likes sesame chicken, and crab ragoons. neither of us really like General chicken though. Oh well, it takes all kinds of people to make the world go round!

I love soooooo many Chinese dishes. Moo goo gai pan, Warba, Mandarian lamb, Mandarian beef, sesame chicken, orange chicken, pineapple chicken, lichee chicken, duck....
Anything as long as it is not too spicy, and they are good about making most dishes mild. I am not a fan of sweet & sour though.
