I have all the Final Fantasies, Resident Evil, Metal Gears, series. I want to buy the 80gig, but I need to make sure it will work with my games, specially with the Final Fantasy games.

Hey, I hooked that bad boy up and it did blew my mind away. The graphics are super-excellent and it was just plain great. Now, I need to sell my PS2 to somebody. PS3 ROCKS!

I know I asked this question yesterday but could this be a download error? I updated to 2.10 version which says to support Divx. But I still can't watch any clips on stage6 vids website. If so can I revert back to last known update then update back to 2.10?

I don't have ps2 games so I'm not worried about backwards compatability. Basically I'm considering purchasing for the gaming and the blu ray player.. I will occasionally do online game play and I don't plan on dling movies, but possibly some classic games...

Which system would be the best and last the longest... Obviously the 60 gig but since I don't plan on dling much would 60 gigs really be necessary. I'm trying to purchase one which will be cost efficient for my needs.

Hey guys have you noticed that we are paying a lot more than we should for the PS3 than some other regions. we are paying £299 for it which is about $613 which is almost double than what the americans pay which is $399. Were not alone other countries are paying more than others so why the huge difference were not exactly goin 4 the top model and yet the price is hurendous. The amount we pay for the 40gb version is nearly the equivalant of gettin a 80gb version in the US and other regions.

Is anyone else having problems playing GTA Vice City (PS2 game), I have a 60GB PS3 with the 2.0 firmware and it plays with really low framerate, I have changed all the settings (smoothing on/off, high def on/off). Any suggestions, or anyone else experiencing this?

I've heard that sony will dicontinue the 60gb ps3 in favour of a less hardware packed 40gb version which is about fifty pounds less (UK). I would like to know from the playstation community and actual ps3 owners if its worth gettin a 40gb core like version of the ps3 because I'm quite confused with sony's intentions. (I personally don't believe its worth it if there gonna take away that much hardware away from the only available version of the console in the UK, Europe and possibly other continents.)

I just bought singstar for my ps3(80gig) and it freezes right before it loads any game play. It says to push "x" and right after pushing x the screen seems to freeze. I've tried restarting it, changing controllers, changing from digital to analog, and pushing all different buttons first.
