The hitting is so damn messed up. Should I wait it out and see if the hitting gets any better, or should i not even waste my time?

I have a bunch of older systems that my brother wants to borrow (NES, SNES, Genesis... ect) I've heard that these systems can damage new projection TVs. My brother bought a brand new 55' Sony projection TV and I just want to make sure that using these on his TV won't damage it or ruin the quality.

Okay my ps2 works fine with all of my other video games, but when i put in my nhl 07 it just goes to my memory card (like it does when no disc is in) so im guessing its not reading my nhl disc, and it only does this with that game, and the game has no scratches or dirt on it? why, and what can i do to fix this? thanks 10 points to most helpful answer.

Is there anyone here owes two consoles? if I am just a regular video gamer, which one should I buy?
