6 mb of memory for every 1 minute of video. there is 1000mb for every 1 gig

So a 1 gig card will store 166minutes of video.

In general, about 400-700 MB.

Lord of the Ring: Two Towers (179 minutes) in PSP movie format is about 676 MB.
