I went to "my computer" after i plugged in the usb cable, but i couldn't find the psp file what did i do wrong?

Close My computer out and make sure the psp is turned on. Then reopen my computer and see if it is listed. If it is not Your computer my have an operating system thats five or so years old. Some windows 98 operating systems don't recognise jump (usb) storage devices.

After you plugged your PSP to the computer, in your PSP, you need to go to Setting -> USB connection. Did you do that?

DId you enable the PC connection? There is an option on the PSP where you have to enable the USB connection so the PC can detect it

special driver software must be instaled to recognise specific drivers, such as your psp
