My brother gave me his nokia 6265i, unfortunately it is locked to a carrier i do not use and they do not use sim cards, i have t-mobile and this phone has a sim card slot in it. So my question is, does anyone know how i can unlock this phone to use a sim card. There must be a way as it seams like every phone can be unlocked to use on any carrier.

I go to download ringtones and my phone say "No GPRS, try CSD" I have a cingular phone and I've always been able to download ringtones but now I can't. I looked in the manual and can't figure out what is wrong. My phone is the LGCG225. I wanna buy a nice-looking cell phone, more about style than function. But I don't want to spend a ton of money (over 400). I mean, I've looked at the Dolce and Gabbana Razr, and its nice, but I want something new, something most people don't know about. I wanna pull out my phone, and have people say, "thats hot, what is that?" Any suggestions?

I tried T Mobile and did not like them, calls kept getting dropped. Basically I all need is a camera, call forwarding, voicemail and caller ID.

Okay, I want a nice cell phone, but i'm sooo picky on what I want on it, and i have been looking for them but can't find one these are the things
1) Free texting after a time*
2) Camara where I can download/e-mail(from the phone) to my computer*
3)good battery life*
4) I can download songs for free and listen to them with my headphones put in*
5)free calls on the weekend (maybe)
6)free time when other people call (maybe)

* equal a need

so everytime im in the middle of typing a message, my phone freezes and i have to take the battery out then put it back in to get it to shut off/turn back on. my service is cincinnati bell and i have a motorola razor phone if anyone wanted to know. so has anyone else ever had this problem? also i dont think ive been getting all my messages. this started today.

I know that cellphone is for calling their parents and friends. But there is one thing i don't get. First of all they use it constantly like non stop and also send text to other people. What do they do with for their cellphone on the daily day. Is it really important? Like isn't it okay if you don't have it.

I am going to Finland this summer and would like to call home from my cell phone. I am not finding it easy however to find a service so that I can Call From Finland to America and Visa Versa. Can I use a calling card. Plz help. If u can give me a service or any ideas, I would be very grateful.

I have nextel, really the only service that works at my house. I really want the i880, really really bad, and my b-day commn up. Right now I have a custom red i265, it works good and all, I just really want the i880. How could I convince her that she should get my this cell phone.

Her argument is that I just got this phone, and she just paid to have a red houseing put on, she would have to pay the full price (500.00), that I have an iPod and a Camera, and a lot of ringtones alredy, end of conversation.

It has a mp3 player, video, 2.0 mega.pix. cam, huge screen, ect.
