I dont mind using the pin number, I want to prepay for 1,000 min, so I dont get any unexpected charges . how can I get one. ? with a reliable company like at and t ? i cant afford a cell phone

It is $10 for unlimited long distance in US and Canada. I have had one of them for almost a year and it works great.

Go to Sam's Club and get one of those phone cards from AT&T that they have. They're like 3 or 4 cents per minute. At our Sam's Club they are right at the checkout aisle.
And you can replenish them at the checkouts too.
