help unlock nokia 6265i!!!?

Question

My brother gave me his nokia 6265i, unfortunately it is locked to a carrier i do not use and they do not use sim cards, i have t-mobile and this phone has a sim card slot in it. So my question is, does anyone know how i can unlock this phone to use a sim card. There must be a way as it seams like every phone can be unlocked to use on any carrier.

not possible.

i believe that phone's from us celluar, which uses cdma and programs the information into the phone. while t mobile uses a sim card.

tough luck, might as well ebay the phone and buy an unlocked one somewhere. in my case, in chicago a lot of indian stores sells unlocked cell phones.
