If I bought a cell phone from a friend who used Tmobile service for their phone, does that mean I wouldn't be able to use that phone with another/different service provider?

Recently, ive been getting calls from no number. It doesnt say private or anything. Its just no number. I even tried calling back one time and my phone says 'no number' so I cant call back some one who has no number. Does anyone know what this is? Its annoying.

Many people sell Cingular prepaid SIM cards on ebay. They say they are brand new and all you need to do is activate them.
There are, however, two pay-as-you-go plans at Cingular - either $0.25/minute or $0.10/minute + $1/day. Do they already come prechosen with the SIM card, or can I choose the plan during activation?
I asked these questions the sellers, but cannot wait for reply any longer - I am in a hurry to buy.

I downloaded Mobile games for Nokia 6255 and installed them in my mobile using Nokis PC suite.....but now the games are installed and two folders named .jad,.jar are there but I cant open neither...I cant even delete them....Help me

I have the motorola V220 I have the usb cord for it but not driver my phone did not come with a disk and I have tryed to contact motorola and I got stuck talking to a stupid robot...I do not want to delete the pictures from my phone I want to put them on my computer but I need that driver I was think if I could find one for another motorola phone it'd work with mine???? but I can't find one anywhere searching the internet everyone else has been having the same prob!!! So if you know anything Please HELP!!

Ok. I got a mystery for people. This morning I got a strange phone call, on my cell phone at 7:25am. The sender's phone no. was +85216160000, when I answered, there was no sound, the line was empty. Then, my boss sent me a SMS from India to wish me happy birthday. I'm 100% sure it was him calling me, but when I looked up the phone code +852, it's from Honk Kong. I don't know anybody in Honk Kong, my boss is the only one I know in Asia. Anybody understands the mystery?!

lost phone in sept have phoned o2 many times and written 2 them twice to cancel contract, which is past the 12 mth limit, they deny getting letters and claim I only phoned once. Was my first phone call to cancel legally binding request or can u only cancel in writing?
they were still taking direct debits so i stopped the DD.

i accidentally selected the option on my verizon wireless cell phone its an audiovox cdm9200vw and i selected the turn off for the back light and now when i open the phone its just a black screen and it wont show me anything. how do i fix this?????
