Cell Phones & Plans - November 2006

I know that I need a usb cable to get the pictures off my phone into my computer, but I have no idea how to do it, and where in the world to find a usb cable! I've checked super wal mart. Could anyone give me an estimate on how much they cost?

Does anyone have the Samsung D900 phone or know anything about it?? I had my other phone E900 stolen:( so I want to buy a new phone. I want to buy a Samsung again but not the E900 again because I got bit annoyed with the touch sensitive keys but maybe there is another Samsung thats worth getting-not neccessarily the D900........any ideas???

well i just got my sidekick 2 today and im on aim write now and i know to set a away message and its on but a hour or so ago i went on my aim on my computer with my frineds a/n not mine and i was on but didnt appear to be away so i imed my self and it imed my sidekick and then it showed my away but i want tit to show like when people view my aim profile anything i can do plz thanxz

I am such a retard, ok so now we know that, i'll tell ya what i did. I have my regular pin number on my phone and a password too. The password request comes up when i switch my phone on, then once i have entered the correct password, a screen comes up asking for my pin number so when i enter that i can use my phone. I put this password on my phone so if someone tries to turn my phone on, they can't enter the wrong pin three times and get my phone blocked. Well, the problem is i changed both my password and my pin number so now i cant turn it on at all. Any ideas? i don't want to call orange if i can avoid it cuz it costs a bomb. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze help!

Cell phone voice quality stinks. So when researching why I found out cell phones transmit voice at 6-12 Kbps codex. Yet these same telephones download VIDEO at 300+Kpbs download webpages, and stream music at CD quality (128 Kpbs). If there is this much bandwidth why don't they upgrade the quality of the voice networks.

My Cingular phone recently just broke, and I am not elligible to update my phone, nor am I interested in renewing my contract (I'm hoping to shop around when this one is done with). I've recently learned of "unlocked" phones. Would it be a good idea to get a Cingular unlocked phones, and if so where can I get one? Or is it better just to get a generic one? I would like it to be able to work if I chose to switch providers. Also does anyone know of a website where I can get a good reliable unlocked phone? Thanks :)

I saw a Samsung model handphone W569. They get it from China. A wording "Any Call" was seen on the handphone. Behind the hp, is "Samsung.com" There is a function tat either sms or received sms, the handphone will read it out.

I recently shut off her cell with Verizon, which was in my name because she was going over her text and minutes by $100.00. Originally she was paying the bill until she quit her job. I offered to pay the bill until she found a new one, which never happened. I still need to get in touch with her so I opted to get her a prepaid. I think you have to buy it on home phones when you get tired of pressing redial there's something you can do so it rings when the line is unbusy. How do i get that feature on a cell phone or is it built in?

9 month old phone on contract from T-mobile. Miini USB power socket has broken so I cant charge it up.
I didnt get any insurance with it.
Where do I stand?
Should they fix it because it is less than a year old?
