I recently shut off her cell with Verizon, which was in my name because she was going over her text and minutes by $100.00. Originally she was paying the bill until she quit her job. I offered to pay the bill until she found a new one, which never happened. I still need to get in touch with her so I opted to get her a prepaid. There are so many and not sure which would be the best.

I have been a T-Mobile prepaid customer for several months now. $100 buys you 1000 minutes, which don't expire for a year. Subsequent refills will extend the expiration on your minutes, but it sounds like that might not be a problem for your daughter.

Well sometimes Prepaid can be more expensive than regular phones. Do you have Cricket in your area? It's like $40 a month with unlimited calls and for I think $5 more you get unlimited text. But if you want prepaid I would go with Virgin. They have service anywhere and I think are still the cheapest. Plus, some months they have freebies which are great, like free minutes after 7.

US Cellular has a few different priced prepaid phones. I was looking around for a phone, and the plans I found there were by far the best I saw.
