I have a tv that i bought in Spain, it uses pal b/g, i would like to use it on uk tv which is pal i, i know i can use sky or cable via scart socket, but i am interested to know if there is a device out there that can convert pal b/g tuners to pal i.

I bought a mobile off a bloke who needed the cash for his train fair home. He took his sim card out & I put mine in. After sending several texts to friends, which I can still do now, after 2 days I went to make a phone call and it says, "call failed not allowed" when someone calls my number a message tells them that there is a fault. Has the cheeky bugger phoned up and reported it stolen and got it blocked or does that sound like there is genuinely a fault, as I can still send texts 10 days on. I have no way of contacting this person and they seemed nice enough. If it has been blocked is there any way of getting it unblocked? Theres no security codes on the phone. Im so gutted because I wanted one like it for ages, and I was just trying to help someone out.

I have googled the 999-999-9999 number and get a lot of different answers ranging from Law enforcement agencies to debt collectors to telemarketers that can block their numbers. I tried to call back but it just rang and rang and rang. Any info would be helpful.
